AiDA enables the collection and reporting of information on all aspects of the Aids and Adaptations process from request to completion. The Trust now shares information with internal as well as external customers. We can now identify trends in work types, provide information on timescales and budgets and generate notification letters to residents awaiting adaptations.

AiDA has really helped us manage our Aids and Adaptations. The colour coded waiting lists clearly highlight the adaptations that need progressing to help us adhere to our targets. It saves us a lot of time with the easy way of generating letters and reports. We can also see a history of how adaptations have progressed and see all the documents and letters associated with them. During an Audit by the Audit commission, AiDA was commented within their report about how useful a tool it was, specifically around keeping tenants informed of progress. I can't imagine how we managed without it!

The adaptations service is strong. Venture has an effective IT system for managing requests for aids and adaptations. This lists all adapted properties and tenants applying for help and enables requests to be matched up for vacant properties if possible, or referred to Social Services for assessments. Adaptations in properties are listed if a property is offered on the city wide choice based lettings system. When an adaptation is installed in a property its electronic records are updated. Timescales from the time requests are received, assessed and met are recorded. Venture has a clear understanding of how long aids and adaptations are taking and whether there are delays in any parts of the process which need to be addressed to improve responsiveness.
AiDA has become an essential tool for us to manage our Aids and Adaptation requests.  We are now able to see at a glance where requests are up to and we can quickly answer tenant queries. The procedures in AiDA help us to keep our clients informed and helps drive us towards meeting our expected performance targets. We can easily generate performance and ad-hoc reports.  All in all, AiDA makes managing our provision of Aids and Adaptations simpler, quicker and more customer friendly.

Aida has helped us enormously in managing our current adaptations caseload, saving us time and money. We are now able to provide accurate performance data and statistics on our service and this enables us to more effectively plan for the future.
